Want to meet other photographers on a free, fun packed afternoon of photography in Brighton?

The Brighton Photo Hunt takes place on Saturday 17th April. Open to anyone with an interest in photography and a digital camera, the event is a cross between a photo walk and a treasure hunt. In teams of 3 or 4 you’ll be given a fun photo challenge to complete around the streets of sunny Brighton. The aim is for each team to capture all the shots in the challenge (you’ll be given instructions and a map), and points will be awarded for each photo your team successfully finds. The winning team wins a small but enjoyable prize!

You don’t need a team beforehand, as we’ll arrange people into teams on the day.

Where?

We’ll be meeting at Grand Central pub from 11.30am, opposite Brighton train station, where people can have a coffee, drink or snack and get to meet the other budding photographers. The address is Grand Central, 29/30 Surrey Street, Brighton, BN1 3PA.  If you come out of Brighton train station, look right and you’ll see the pub across the street.

How to get here?

From London trains run to Brighton every 15 minutes or so, either with Southern from Victoria/Clapham Junction or First Capital Connect from London Bridge.  Advance tickets with Southern can be bought from £6 return.

For those in Brighton it’ll be easy, buses  6, 12, 14, 22,47,50, 57 stop at Brighton train station buses.co.uk

Agenda Sat 17th April

11.30am-12.30 meet at Grand Central pub, meet and greet, form our teams, chat, drink.

12.30 head off in teams to shoot the photo hunt challenge

3pm meet up with the other teams at a second pub (venue to be confirmed), for scoring and judging. Lunch and drinks optional.
